A mockery of democracy: Inside the Republican voter purge program.

What they do is they take all the voting rolls of 26 states, they mush them together and the see if someone is registered in two different states. For example, the Georgia list shows 500 guys named James Brown, who they say are also registered in another state, because there's a James Brown in Atlanta and a James Brown in Michigan. You should know it's James Edward Brown in Atlanta and James Thomas Brown in Michigan - but they say it's the same voter. You might laugh at that, but here's what's not funny - they can both lose their vote.

Investigative journalist Greg Palast reports on the massive, fraudulent voter purge program enacted by Republicans to - and aided by the courts, an uninterested (mostly White) mainstream press and a clueless (mostly White) Democratic establishment - and his legal battles to expose the mechanisms of disenfranchisement in the 21st century.

Greg posted the video How to Steal Georgia in 7 Minutes for Salon and wrote the article Georgia’s Brian Kemp Purged 340,134 Voters, Falsely Asserting They Had Moved for Truthout.

Greg's documentary The Best Democracy Money Can Buy gets way into this, you should watch it.
