The crisis we face here is the kind that prompts the question ‘Is Puerto Rico the new Greece?’ You see, the government is in debt for some $70 billion, and come the next fiscal year, there’s no money to pay off the debt or even run the government. And the next fiscal year starts in… two weeks.

Dave Buchen has been living in Puerto Rico since the previous century. There he home-schools his two kids and makes theater with Theater Oobleck and El Teatro Barbaro, and plays music with La Banda Municipal de Makula Barun.
