You can't talk about the failure of the PT party, or Brazilian left, without talking about who they were fighting, and the power differential. You're talking about a political party that controlled 22% of congress, never controlled the military or the judiciary, going up against the most powerful nation in the world's petroleum interests. Look at who they were fighting, if you're going to talk about what they failed to do. Wouldn't it be better to listen to them about what they think they did right and wrong?
