The Drama of the Exiled King: A Torah tale for Trump times.

962jeffdorchen

When a bloated doofus holds the highest office in the world and spends his time spazzing around like a monkey beset by bees, and the laws governing society don't make sense to the people living in it, don't serve their needs, don't address the problems of the day, it makes perfect sense for us to dismiss authority, at least, as a meaningless masked parade, and by extension all our social duties. What a clown show. What a dumb show. What a shit show.

In a Moment of Truth, Jeff Dorchen thinks about how he's feeling in these early days of the Trump administration, and remembers way way back to olden Jewish times, when kings were Jewish and demons were Jewish but also had sex with women on their periods and none of it made any sense then or now, in that story or this dumb story we're in the middle of. Or end of?
