Future creep: On economy, society and our shiny new barbarism.

We see you on every screen, high in the spectacle, glorying in your masturbatory conspicuous consumption, eating our children's bread, buying islands with our firefighters' retirement accounts, poisoning our land with your long-lasting batteries, enhancing your overtaxed sex organs with our health care dollars.
