The Anti-Trans Panic and the Crusade Against Teachers / Kay Gabriel

Moms for Liberty frame themselves as "defending parental rights." It is a swindle, a lie, that teachers and their unions are just advancing their own agenda, and that includes turning your children against you. They are attacking the ability of teachers to make decisions to set both working conditions for themselves and learning conditions for students, the ability of teachers, students and parents to achieve like good public education together in which every young person has like an excellent place to learn and develop as a person. These people frame teachers as the reason why schools are bad, as opposed to conservative administrations that defund, underfund, and undermine the actual structures that make it possible for young people to learn things.

Kay Gabriel on her n+1 magazine article, "The Anti-Trans Panic and the Crusade Against Teachers: The goal is to crumble popular support for public education." Plus, a Moment of Truth from Jeff Dorchen and Rotten History from Renaldo Migaldi.
