M: The answer from hell is yes, that’s the plan. The plan is not to stop environmental extraction or environmental devastation. The plan is to invest in police that can control for the outcomes of environmental devastation. The rich will have their bunkers. The rich will have their spaceships or whatever it is that they think will protect them from climate disaster. And police — I think that's their contingency plan. Police are going to control for the outcomes because they certainly don't intend on stopping extraction.
