What they're saying is you will own nothing and be happy because all of the techno feudal overlords will own everything and you will pay them rents in order to live in your apartment, in order to buy, in order to have access to a kitchen to cook, you will pay them rent in order to use your phone. You will pay them rent in order to use your apps that you use to communicate with your loved ones. You will pay them rent in order to get into the public, there is no public transportation, into the privatized transportation to go to your workplace. You will pay them rent for everything. Now what we see is that capitalists. They love the landlords. They want to be landlords because the fastest way to become rich is to become a landlord. It's to create a monopoly, to charge monopoly rent, and to live off that rent. It's not to create industrial products.

Ben Norton joins us to discuss his recent article at the Geopolitical Economy Report titled, "How US Big Tech monopolies colonized the world: Welcome to neo-feudalism." After the interview, we hear a new "Rotten History" by Renaldo Migaldi.
